Clearly, Lexus is making headway towards the future, if you are to look at the concept car unveiled by Japan’s Toyota Motor Corporation, the makers of Lexus. It is called the Lexus LF-CC hybrid, and its striking lines and curves have been brought to the spotlight in the 2012 Paris Auto Show. From the creative minds of Design Q, the UK-based design consultancy firm who mainly worked on private jet designs in the past, comes their concept of a “private jet for the road”, the Q-VR Range Rover. Aimed primarily for the Middle-Eastern jet-setter, this luxury stretch SUV is jampacked with features that spell “V – I – P” in seemingly bold, gold, capital letters. (more…)

CD Portrait of Bob Marley

In an effort to combat piracy in the music industry, many concerned parties, including the musicians themselves, have raised their voices against it. While others were more vocal, some resorted to more unconventional ways to get their message across. TBWA Italy joined in this campaign and also launched the pop culture magazine First Floor Under by making use of CDs in creating portraits of not one, but seven, musicians who are legends in their own rights. Saitama-born Japanese architect Daisuke Motogi, under his own company Daisuke Motogi Architecture started a series of furniture collection he called the “Flip Series”. The latest in the series is yet another innovative and fun design which is perfect for caffeine lovers and even those who do not like the stuff but do appreciate great furniture and great style. He called it the Coffeecup chair.

The Maserati Ghibli Sedan

This 2013, Maserati is out on a mission: to sell 50,000 units all over the globe. To achieve that, it is releasing two new models, and one of them is the Maserati Ghibli Sedan. The Ghibli’s world debut took place during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, and from the looks of things, Maserati may just hit its goal.
