“Aggelon Gi”, in Greek, means “Angels’ Land”. It also happens to be the name of the Winery Estate that has just recently launched a series of premium wines.

Aggelon Gi Estates’ latest contribution to wine serves as a symbol of hope and a ray of light in the otherwise bleak and dreary setting that has been the norm of late, no thanks to the crisis that the entire country is still battling with even now. Angels have always represented purity and hope, and that seems to be the starting point of Sophia Georgopoulou’s design concept for its branding, labels, and packaging.  (more…)

The new crossover Mazda CX-5

Mazda showed the first pictures of the crossover CX-5. This is the first production car Mazda, which will be created under the concept of reducing fuel consumption Skyactiv, which includes the new gasoline and diesel engines, an upgraded transmission, as well as the design concept of Kodo. The vehicle will be equipped with a gasoline engine hlitrovym 2-and 2.2-liter turbodiesel and a capacity of 173 l.c. The auto will be equipped with a six-speed hand-operated transmission and front wheel drive. Mazda CX-5 will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and in the spring of 2012 will go on sale.

Pythagorean cup, also known as the Pythagorean Glass, Fair Cup and Pythagoras Cup. The Pythagorean cup is a form of drinking cup, which is a deep sense of control measures of a drink.

Tradition says Pythagoras, during water supply works in the island of Samos, around 530 b.C. moderated the workers’ wine drinking by the inventing the “fare cup”. When the wine surpasses the line, the cup totally empties, so the greedy one is punished.

Well, if it were up to Heineken and Petit Romain, you would be doing that sometime in the future. The French industrial designer has just revealed his concept of a Heineken bottle. Foregoing the usual round bottles with long and narrow necks, this one has a square shape and is aptly named “Heineken Cube”. (more…)
