The Apophis Flash Drive by Zana Design

In ancient Egyptian mythology, there is an evil demon that embodies pure darkness and chaos. It is named Apepi or, in Greek, Apophis. Now perhaps you’re wondering why a USB flash drive would be named after a demon god. Well, it’s not. This flash drive is actually named after the near-earth asteroid 99942 Apophis. With a width of 390 meters, this asteroid, which first manifested itself in December 2004, shows signs of colliding with Earth on April 13, 2036. Very Doomsday-ish, but there is no denying that it has an impact, literally and figuratively. As is the design of this unique USB flash drive.

London’s Cypriot studio SuperNova Studio, has created a stunning interior design for the boutique Kokoo in Nicosia. Among the elements of the decor, the giant golden egg, with sticking out human legs ,a blue rooster with shelves and hangers, umbrellas instead. Surrealism in the service of a consumer society.

CD Portrait of Bob Marley

In an effort to combat piracy in the music industry, many concerned parties, including the musicians themselves, have raised their voices against it. While others were more vocal, some resorted to more unconventional ways to get their message across. TBWA Italy joined in this campaign and also launched the pop culture magazine First Floor Under by making use of CDs in creating portraits of not one, but seven, musicians who are legends in their own rights. Coco Choco brand logo

Coco Choco, a brand of handmade chocolate, produces two varieties: white chocolate and dark chocolate. When coming up with the brand packaging for both varieties, Lina Aggelopoulou made sure to integrate subtle distinctions in the design, so it would be easier to tell them apart. She was also responsible for the design of the logo.
