The Mazda MX-5 Superlite

From car-maker giant Mazda comes the MX-5 derived concept known as the Mazda “Superlite”. In collaboration with the Cologne, Germany-based design studio Motorcity Europe, the automotive manufacture from Hiroshima, Japan came out with this “celebratory” racer. One may scoff in disbelief upon hearing the name of this structural design proposal by Michael Jantzen. After all, the wind has no shape! But let us not be literal, since the name “Wind Shaped Pavilion’ is used on a different context. The ABJ Explorer One

Some may say that this is taking “luxury jet” too far.

Is it? After all, no one could say that an airplane with a balcony is not innovative and outright ingenious. BAE Systems has taken private planes on a higher plane (no pun intended) with the introduction of their concept for the Avro Business Jet (ABJ) Explorer One. In collaboration with Design Q, a UK-based company that specializes in coming up with designs for luxury transport solutions, BAE Systems is now stressing on the “V” aspect of “VIP flying”, as evidenced by the ultra-posh and ultra-comfortable interiors of the Explorer.  (more…)

FIVE Unique Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a lot to live up to. The marketing campaign of this Greek gourmet olive oil focuses on the five senses, hence the name, and invites everyone to indulge their senses with it. It also sets itself apart for its packaging, since its bottle is decorated with SWAROVSKI elements. You would think, then, that that’s a tough act to follow, packaging-wise.

Evening of 21 June in the center of modern design and innovation to life MOD Design Nokia has introduced the most recent  smartphone Nokia N9-based operating system MeeGo. The manufacturer has presented three possible colors: Black, blue and pink. Also, the new smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera module and GPS, supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. Other technical specifications: Processor OMAP3630 clocked at 1 GHz, graphics co-processor PowerVR SGX530, AMOLED-display diagonal of 3.9 inches with a resolution 854h480 points, RAM 1 GB memory and user data 16 or 64 GB.
