Well, if it were up to Heineken and Petit Romain, you would be doing that sometime in the future. The French industrial designer has just revealed his concept of a Heineken bottle. Foregoing the usual round bottles with long and narrow necks, this one has a square shape and is aptly named “Heineken Cube”. (more…)

I had an idea of a always on LCD display that showed continuously changing apparently random numbers. Some of the numbers tell the time but without knowing the order are completely meaningless. This 2013, Maserati is out on a mission: to sell 50,000 units all over the globe. To achieve that, it is releasing two new models, and one of them is the Maserati Ghibli Sedan. The Ghibli’s world debut took place during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, and from the looks of things, Maserati may just hit its goal.

BlackBerry in partnership with Porsche presented the smartphone P’9981.

The model is made in monoblock and clad steel side is covered with a layer of korpus. Specifications meet the requirements to keep up with peers. 1.2GHz CPU, 5MP camera with video recording 720p HD. 8GB of memory, a slot for microSD. The screen is not large, only a 2.8-inch 640 × 480, with a resolution of 287dpi. Comfortable QWERTY keyboard with backlighting.

The public became available photos of the new version of the legendary 2012 Porsche 911. Premiere of the car in September at the Frankfurt International Motor Show 2011. The new Porsche 911 will get bigger and roomier, it has a long wheelbase, the instrument panel in the style of the latest model will be equipped with the Panamera and the 350-strong 3,4-liter engine with six cylinders for the Boxster S or 3.8-liter 6-cylinder engine power of 400 horsepower and a 7-speed manual transmission. In addition, the different versions will be equipped with a manual transmission with double clutch.

Boolean logic would dictate sets of relationships where even unexpected bits and pieces could be combined and form a cohesive whole until such time that it actually makes sense. That is what Mexican designer Joel Escalona worked with when he designed a chest of drawers, which he then aptly named “Booleanos”. (more…)
