In an effort to combat piracy in the music industry, many concerned parties, including the musicians themselves, have raised their voices against it. While others were more vocal, some resorted to more unconventional ways to get their message across. TBWA Italy joined in this campaign and also launched the pop culture magazine First Floor Under by making use of CDs in creating portraits of not one, but seven, musicians who are legends in their own rights. Visual Identity for Metrio Coffee

Coming up with a product logo or something that would serve as a visual identity for food items, such as coffee and other beverages, could be quite tricky. You need to incorporate the element of recall and uniqueness, so that one look at the logo or image would immediately bring to mind the product name.

Sozopol is one of most ancient bulgarian towns ,situated on the seaside of the Black sea ,only 20 km southern from the city of Burgas. It is a place ,which unites an amazing  combination of ancient byzantine  history and a modern sea resort. In the year of 610 BC ,on the place of the town has been established a Hellenic colony named Apolonia Pontika  ( “Apolonia “ from Apollo ,a God from the Greek mythology). The town of Apollo has been known as an important trade and seaport  town,the most developed of all others.

Heineken Cube

How do you drink your beer? From a beer mug? Straight from the can? Or do you drink it cold, taking a swig right off the bottle? Ever pictured yourself taking a drink from a square bottle?

Well, if it were up to Heineken and Petit Romain, you would be doing that sometime in the future. The French industrial designer has just revealed his concept of a Heineken bottle. Foregoing the usual round bottles with long and narrow necks, this one has a square shape and is aptly named “Heineken Cube”. (more…)

Michael Jantzen’s Wind Shaped Pavilion

One may scoff in disbelief upon hearing the name of this structural design proposal by Michael Jantzen. After all, the wind has no shape! But let us not be literal, since the name “Wind Shaped Pavilion’ is used on a different context.
