Dragées are basically small, bite-sized confectionery with a hard outer shell for coating. In Greece, the first name when it comes to the manufacture of dragées is Hatziyiannakis, and in its 60-year stint in the industry, they have come up with a new product: edible pebbles.

One may scoff in disbelief upon hearing the name of this structural design proposal by Michael Jantzen. After all, the wind has no shape! But let us not be literal, since the name “Wind Shaped Pavilion’ is used on a different context. This 2013, Maserati is out on a mission: to sell 50,000 units all over the globe. To achieve that, it is releasing two new models, and one of them is the Maserati Ghibli Sedan. The Ghibli’s world debut took place during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, and from the looks of things, Maserati may just hit its goal.

Cultural spaces are not mere venues where various art forms or media are displayed. They are, in and of themselves, a backdrop that will highlight the subjects instead of swallowing them whole. Getting that balance is important when it comes to designing the logo or corporate identity for such a cultural space, and that was achieved by designer Sophia Georgopoulou for “Based in Athens”.  (more…)

According to its tradition, Lamborghini’s new flagship bears the name of a bull – naturally, a particularly courageous specimen from the world of the Spanish Corrida. Aventador was a bull bred by the Don Celestino Cuardi Vides family that in October 1993 entered into battle at the Saragossa Arena, earning the “Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera” for the outstanding courage shown during the fight.

BlackBerry in partnership with Porsche presented the smartphone P’9981.

The model is made in monoblock and clad steel side is covered with a layer of korpus. Specifications meet the requirements to keep up with peers. 1.2GHz CPU, 5MP camera with video recording 720p HD. 8GB of memory, a slot for microSD. The screen is not large, only a 2.8-inch 640 × 480, with a resolution of 287dpi. Comfortable QWERTY keyboard with backlighting.
