Ever since word got out about the Russian design company coming out with “a million keyboards in one”, there were a lot of mixed reactions, especially when it seemed that the product would be worth more than $1000. Why, that is even more that what one would normally pay for a computer! However, there are a lot of reasons why the Optimus Popularis is going to be worth every cent of its $1000+ price tag.

The Protohaus: Comfort in a Trailer Home

Living in comfort is one thing we all seek; living in comfort in a trailer sounds a bit far-fetched. At least, that used to be the case.

Presenting the “Protohaus”, the trailer home that pretty much buries all the “comfort trailer home” concepts over the years. With its timber frame and a trailer bed that claims to be able to bear up to 14,000 pounds (around 6,350 kgs) of solid weight, this “stick-built” house is tastefully elegant and structurally sound.

The marketing campaign of this Greek gourmet olive oil focuses on the five senses, hence the name, and invites everyone to indulge their senses with it. It also sets itself apart for its packaging, since its bottle is decorated with SWAROVSKI elements. You would think, then, that that’s a tough act to follow, packaging-wise.

CD Portrait of Bob Marley

In an effort to combat piracy in the music industry, many concerned parties, including the musicians themselves, have raised their voices against it. While others were more vocal, some resorted to more unconventional ways to get their message across. TBWA Italy joined in this campaign and also launched the pop culture magazine First Floor Under by making use of CDs in creating portraits of not one, but seven, musicians who are legends in their own rights. According to its tradition, Lamborghini’s new flagship bears the name of a bull – naturally, a particularly courageous specimen from the world of the Spanish Corrida. Aventador was a bull bred by the Don Celestino Cuardi Vides family that in October 1993 entered into battle at the Saragossa Arena, earning the “Trofeo de la Peña La Madroñera” for the outstanding courage shown during the fight.

Faces in Places project

Faces in Places has to look at the routine from a different angle and see the “face” of any subject.

Look closely – they are everywhere! All the objects around us have their faces: the float, a piece of unfinished pizza and slippers, the roof, a box for letters, even a trash can. A bit of observation, a little imagination – and now you can see that all things have their own face around. Very fun and entertaining project must capture the imagination and make you look more closely to what is on the desktop, in the kitchen or outdoors. (more…)
