In an effort to combat piracy in the music industry, many concerned parties, including the musicians themselves, have raised their voices against it. While others were more vocal, some resorted to more unconventional ways to get their message across. TBWA Italy joined in this campaign and also launched the pop culture magazine First Floor Under by making use of CDs in creating portraits of not one, but seven, musicians who are legends in their own rights. In ancient Egyptian mythology, there is an evil demon that embodies pure darkness and chaos. It is named Apepi or, in Greek, Apophis. Now perhaps you’re wondering why a USB flash drive would be named after a demon god. Well, it’s not. This flash drive is actually named after the near-earth asteroid 99942 Apophis. With a width of 390 meters, this asteroid, which first manifested itself in December 2004, shows signs of colliding with Earth on April 13, 2036. Very Doomsday-ish, but there is no denying that it has an impact, literally and figuratively. As is the design of this unique USB flash drive.

Ta.To., or Tommaso Taraschi of Athens, Greece, came up with the graphic design for the packaging and branding of Creta Springs Mineral Water. The design portrayed purity and freshness, sticking to the clears and blues of gems shaped like drops of water.

Coming up with a product logo or something that would serve as a visual identity for food items, such as coffee and other beverages, could be quite tricky. You need to incorporate the element of recall and uniqueness, so that one look at the logo or image would immediately bring to mind the product name.

The State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia, more commonly known as the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, is both historic and noteworthy in terms of its design and architecture. Located in Moscow, it holds ballet and opera performances and, to this day, remains to be one of the most famous and revered landmarks of Russia.
