The Design Studio of Mercedes-Benz in Como of Italy, was opened in February 1998 and is specialized in developing new interior design concepts. The current Design Studio Manager is Michele Jauch Paganetti, who succeded Mr. Norber Weber in October 2006. The  Design Studio of Mercedes-Benz in Como, is the third Design Studio, after the studio in Yokohama of  Japan and Irvine in USA. All three  studios have the same objective in design.

The “Octopussy” Floor Lamp

At first glance, it does look funny, but the functionality of this floor lamp is anything but laughable.

Vladimir Tomilov is the creative mind behind the “Octopussy”, a floor lamp with ‘tentacles’ for legs and a ‘giant eye’ for light. You’d think it would serve only as an accent piece in any room but, upon closer inspection, you’ll realize that the Russian industrial designer definitely knows what he’s doing.  (more…)

BMW C Evolution - Motorrad E-scooter

BMW C Evolution – BMW Motorrad has read the signs of the times and is expanding its business activities to include the facet of urban mobility. Electromobility has a key role to play in this new segment. The first stage of development was the e-scooter concept vehicle presented at the BMW Motorrad Innovation Day 2011. At the moment, the project brings together eighty artists from all over the world. The purpose of the life is to show us all as an unique visualization of modern thoughts and moods among different people from various parts of the planet. CD Portrait of Bob Marley

In an effort to combat piracy in the music industry, many concerned parties, including the musicians themselves, have raised their voices against it. While others were more vocal, some resorted to more unconventional ways to get their message across. TBWA Italy joined in this campaign and also launched the pop culture magazine First Floor Under by making use of CDs in creating portraits of not one, but seven, musicians who are legends in their own rights.
