Scion iQ will be published in 2012

Toyota Motor Corporation announced the launch of electric Scion iQ, which goes on sale in 2012. It also became known that next year Toyota will release several new products. As for the Scion iQ, it’s cute eco-friendly electric vehicle that is powered only by battery.

The Jaguar C-X75

Luxury and sports car manufacturer Jaguar is at it again… and we are not complaining.

On the launch site, located at Cape Canaveral has started a preliminary pre-launch countdown until the launch of the space shuttle “Atlantis”, which took place last friday, in order to reach ISS. The launch of the American shuttle “Atlantis” is scheduled on July 8th at 11:26 AM local time. The returning of the shuttle to the Earth is scheduled on July 20th. After a few days, the only transport to ISS, will remain the russian “Soyuz”, writes today – “The Wall Street Journal (WSJ)”.

From the creative minds of Design Q, the UK-based design consultancy firm who mainly worked on private jet designs in the past, comes their concept of a “private jet for the road”, the Q-VR Range Rover. The Design Studio of Mercedes-Benz in Como of Italy, was opened in February 1998 and is specialized in developing new interior design concepts. The current Design Studio Manager is Michele Jauch Paganetti, who succeded Mr. Norber Weber in October 2006. The  Design Studio of Mercedes-Benz in Como, is the third Design Studio, after the studio in Yokohama of  Japan and Irvine in USA. All three  studios have the same objective in design.

“The Subway” – LCD Watch Concept

Take a look at the following interesting watch concept called “Subway – The route for reading the time”. It was submitted to TokyoFlash by designer from UK Peter. Peter says: “This is “Subway”. I had an idea of a always on LCD display that showed continuously changing apparently random numbers. Some of the numbers tell the time but without knowing the order are completely meaningless. The future is now! Soon the phrase from the sci-fi movie “flipnut to the spaceport,” becomes a reality. At least the second part of mankind has provided. In October, an official opening ceremony of the spaceport, “America,” the world’s first commercial site for private space flight. Spaceport was opened in the desert of New Mexico. The project was implemented in English Office Foster and Partners. Starport includes a waiting room and flight training, hangar and control tower. Also provided a runway length of three kilometers.
