From car-maker giant Mazda comes the MX-5 derived concept known as the Mazda “Superlite”. In collaboration with the Cologne, Germany-based design studio Motorcity Europe, the automotive manufacture from Hiroshima, Japan came out with this “celebratory” racer. TV Beds from Time 4 Sleep

Efficiency is fast becoming a major consideration when it comes to interior design, or even the simple act of purchasing integral pieces of furniture. Space efficiency, to be more precise. But there is also a need to never sacrifice comfort and functionality. The bedroom is considered to be one of the more important rooms in every home. After all, more than a place to sleep in, it serves a sanctuary, where one could lie down after a tiring day at work, kick back, relax, drink some wine, and watch some late night reruns on the television, or maybe pop a video or two. Having a TV Bed to do all those in would be the perfect way to end each day (and start a new one the next day).

Ask any booklover or “bookworm” and he or she would tell you that there is no better feeling than holding books in the palm of your hands. Well, various designers took that concept quite literally, coming up with bookends that represent both the function of said items, and the passion one finds in books. The Apophis Flash Drive by Zana Design

In ancient Egyptian mythology, there is an evil demon that embodies pure darkness and chaos. It is named Apepi or, in Greek, Apophis. Now perhaps you’re wondering why a USB flash drive would be named after a demon god. Well, it’s not. This flash drive is actually named after the near-earth asteroid 99942 Apophis. With a width of 390 meters, this asteroid, which first manifested itself in December 2004, shows signs of colliding with Earth on April 13, 2036. Very Doomsday-ish, but there is no denying that it has an impact, literally and figuratively. As is the design of this unique USB flash drive.
