The future is now! Soon the phrase from the sci-fi movie “flipnut to the spaceport,” becomes a reality. At least the second part of mankind has provided. In October, an official opening ceremony of the spaceport, “America,” the world’s first commercial site for private space flight. Spaceport was opened in the desert of New Mexico. The project was implemented in English Office Foster and Partners. Starport includes a waiting room and flight training, hangar and control tower. Also provided a runway length of three kilometers.

The Protohaus: Comfort in a Trailer Home

Living in comfort is one thing we all seek; living in comfort in a trailer sounds a bit far-fetched. At least, that used to be the case.

Presenting the “Protohaus”, the trailer home that pretty much buries all the “comfort trailer home” concepts over the years. With its timber frame and a trailer bed that claims to be able to bear up to 14,000 pounds (around 6,350 kgs) of solid weight, this “stick-built” house is tastefully elegant and structurally sound.

Cyclades Logo

The Cyclades, a group of Greek islands in the Aegean Sea, boasts a lot of local products that are worthy of note. To promote these products, there is a need for a logo that will represent them in a bigger market. FOKI are shoes, desinged by the designer Adika Titut Triyugo, with the function of cleaning the floor. Underneath each shoe, there are two rotary cleaners, to sweep up the dust and to kill bacteria.At the side ,there is also a LED display,which indicates the battery condition.

The Booleanos Chest of Drawers by Joel Escalona

A chest of drawers and a centerpiece. Interior decorating doesn’t get any better than this.

Boolean logic would dictate sets of relationships where even unexpected bits and pieces could be combined and form a cohesive whole until such time that it actually makes sense. That is what Mexican designer Joel Escalona worked with when he designed a chest of drawers, which he then aptly named “Booleanos”. (more…)

The BMW 328 Homage Concept was created on the occasion of 75th anniversary by representing the first 328. One model that has played a key role in the development of the Bavarian brand. While the BMW avoid making the connection, 328 Homage Concept is also based on the experimental model, Vision ConnectedDrive roadster, which premiered at this year’s in Geneva Motor Show.
