In Edessa, Greece, there is a chain of bakeries that is much-loved for their excellent breads and pastries. It’s a family-owned and family-run business that is rich with tradition. As such, the construction of its building, from the facade to the brand or corporate identity, needed to reflect this tradition and sense of family.

The Protohaus: Comfort in a Trailer Home
Living in comfort is one thing we all seek; living in comfort in a trailer sounds a bit far-fetched. At least, that used to be the case.
Presenting the “Protohaus”, the trailer home that pretty much buries all the “comfort trailer home” concepts over the years. With its timber frame and a trailer bed that claims to be able to bear up to 14,000 pounds (around 6,350 kgs) of solid weight, this “stick-built” house is tastefully elegant and structurally sound.

London’s Cypriot studio SuperNova Studio, has created a stunning interior design for the boutique Kokoo in Nicosia. Among the elements of the decor, the giant golden egg, with sticking out human legs ,a blue rooster with shelves and hangers, umbrellas instead. Surrealism in the service of a consumer society.

The “Octopussy” Floor Lamp
At first glance, it does look funny, but the functionality of this floor lamp is anything but laughable.
Vladimir Tomilov is the creative mind behind the “Octopussy”, a floor lamp with ‘tentacles’ for legs and a ‘giant eye’ for light. You’d think it would serve only as an accent piece in any room but, upon closer inspection, you’ll realize that the Russian industrial designer definitely knows what he’s doing. (more…)

Graphical method: wanted snowboard to be different, unlike the others, something that would have fun and be memorable. From the point of view of graphic design snowboarding thing is simple. This elongated surface on which to apply image …. the main question, “What strike?” If you type in Google query about the design of boards, you’ll see a lot of bright pictures, most of which are patterns and designs. We also wanted to have images emphasize the form that would have started up this and opened.

Michael Jantzen’s Wind Shaped Pavilion
One may scoff in disbelief upon hearing the name of this structural design proposal by Michael Jantzen. After all, the wind has no shape! But let us not be literal, since the name “Wind Shaped Pavilion’ is used on a different context.
