CONCEPT CARS: The Q-VR Range Rover
This is not your average Range Rover.
From the creative minds of Design Q, the UK-based design consultancy firm who mainly worked on private jet designs in the past, comes their concept of a “private jet for the road”, the Q-VR Range Rover. Aimed primarily for the Middle-Eastern jet-setter, this luxury stretch SUV is jampacked with features that spell “V – I – P” in seemingly bold, gold, capital letters.
With a design based loosely on the 2010 Range Rover, the Q-VR boasts a stretch design, clearly indicating that this luxury SUV is in a class all its own. While your usual SUV, or Range Rover, for that matter, has its rear doors opening via side hinges, the Q-VR does not go the usual route. Instead, they open up via hinges that are strategically placed on the roof, revealing a spacious and, you guessed it, luxurious interior.
The add-on features are reminiscent of what one would normally find in a private jet. A chiller for drinks and beverages, a mini-spa center, a cigar humidor, and ultra-comfy reclining seats. These are only a few of the many embellishments of the Q-VR. Truly, it would make one ride on the lap of luxury, literally and figuratively!
So, what do you think of the design of the Q-VR? What do you think of the idea of letting private jet luxuries get some road action?
