The Cyclades, a group of Greek islands in the Aegean Sea, boasts a lot of local products that are worthy of note. To promote these products, there is a need for a logo that will represent them in a bigger market. The branding for Kalypso Hotel, a hotel in the island of Crete, was undertaken as a college project by Con Papanestis. He took inspiration from the location of the hotel when choosing the colors, strongly influenced by Crete’s azure sea and sky, and the simple, sweeping lines of the waves of the ocean.
