Packaging for Bzzz Honey
Wanna know the latest buzz on honey packaging?
Bzzz Armenian Honey is one of the leading makers and distributors of honey in the region; thus, it’s only fitting for it to step up its game, starting with coming up with a creative packaging design. They managed to do that – and spectacularly so – with a beehive-inspired design that would make consumers feel as though they are getting their honey straight from the source.
The creative minds behind this design is the Armenian design studio, Backbone Creative. The pure honey would still be poured into a glass jar bottle. However, instead of putting the bottle in a cardboard box, plastic, or release it to the market as it is, the bottle is placed inside an improvised wooden container ingeniously crafted and shaped to resemble a real beehive.
The ‘improvised beehive’ is made from wooden rings that seemingly wrap themselves around the honey jar. Take note that the wooden rings are not stiff or rigid; they can actually be easily slipped off the jar as it is fitted in. A simple cord holds the whole thing together.
The ‘beehive’ is topped off with a cork lid for easy opening and closing. That means your honey jar will be doubly protected: first, with the jar’s lid, and second, with the beehive’s cork lid.
Do not worry about bees flocking to this beehive. It may look like one, but this is entirely environment-friendly and, best of all, tastefully done.
